Colourpop Collection
July 29, 2017
As you can see I'm a bit obsessed with the makeup brand Colourpop.
Let me just state that I'm not a beauty guru and a makeup artist either. I'm simply a woman who just does the "no make-up" make-up look on the daily basis. Let's just say foundation, a bit of mascara, and a lipstick will do! Anywho after watching plenty of makeup videos on youtube, I've decided I needed to change my beauty routine up a bit even if it does take me longer to get ready.
Why did you choose the makeup brand Colourpop?
I didn't even know Colourpop existed until I asked one of my friends about that I wanted to learn how to do my makeup, yet I wanted some quality makeup that didn't cost much and was going to be great for me to use while learning. Not only is Colourpop a great brand, but it's great for beginners especially with the price it costs. I can say nothing is over $10 dollars unless if you're buying a bundle or value set.
Lil Lippie in the color ASAP
This Lil lippie is not on the site since it was a "freebie" with one of my purchases. Super cute and perfect for travel. Colourpop should definitely put this nude pink lippie online for everyone to purchase. All I can tell you that this lippie lives in my purse for my on the go look!
Highlighter in Lunch Money & Bronzer in Bronze Me
Can I just tell you I love creme formulas! Why? Well, the creme formula I find it way easier to blend and it's great for someone who's beginning to learn how to do makeup like myself.
Yes, Please!
Literally, once I saw this makeup palette on Colourpop's Instagram story I knew I needed some eyeshadows in my life. Especially since it's a more neutral color palette which is my favorite way to go since I love the natural "no make-up" make-up look. This palette is small and definitely perfect if you're traveling. I definitely recommend this palette if you're looking for something great and it goes for $16. At the moment it's currently out of stock, but keep up to date with Colourpop on their Instagram so you can be informed when they restock it.
Birthday Cake SSS
A limited edition SSS for Colourpop's 3rd birthday this year which isn't available anymore.
Game Face SSS
This is one of their many best selling super shock shadows, but can I say I'm loving the copper vibes. This is my go to eyeshadow for creating a smoking eye look for a night out.
Ultra Satin Lips
Best lipsticks ever especially if you don't want to dry out your lips with their matte lipsticks which can be long wear and super hard to take off. While Ultra Satin Lips are long wearing, yet they are more comfortable and easier to take off.
Ultra Matte Lips
These Ultra Matte Lips are super long wearing and hard to take off, but gosh are they great for a night out especially since you don't have to reapply often as with other lipsticks you do!
Ultra Blotted Lip
The Ultra Blotted Lip is basically a lip stain and keeps your look more natural as possible. Super cute for an everyday look!
Lippie Pencils
I would never use lip pencils before I'd applied a lipstick which in my case I was making a big mistake. Wearing a lip liner before applying a lipstick makes the application way easier and less messy. You don't want to over line your lips with a lipstick causing it for more errors to occur.
Lippie Stix
The lippie stix are a super comfortable formula for an everyday wear. Providing full coverage just with one swipe over your lips. I can tell you when I first ordered Colourpop the Lippie Stix were my go to and still are especially with their matte looking finish. P.S. My favorite is "Grunge" if you're wondering and I so would recommend it.
Colourpop is overall a great company and I'm just obsessed with them that I keep ordering their products every week. Being a beginner in makeup I'm glad I chose Colourpop with my first brand to start with in learning how to do my makeup. I will obviously always be a fan of Colourpop and I can't wait to see what they bring out next!
